ROBIN CRUSOE FOR A DAY

Nihi Oka is an experience not to be missed on your trip to Nihiwatu. A 90-minute trek will bring you through rolling hills, local villages and rice fields, ending at the show-stopping destination of Nihi Oka. You’re then invited to a breakfast at the tree platform before you’re whisked away to your private cliff-top bale for the day where you will be pampered by spa therapists with unlimited treatments. If you want to extend your Spa Safari, you can now also stay overnight in the honeymoon villa. So do plan your romantic stay at this remote spot in advance.

ECO-FRIENDLY

Nihiwatu has excellent social and eco-credentials. Food miles are kept to a minimum, vegetables come from the resort’s own organic garden, meat from its chicken farm, and fish comes directly from the sea, caught fresh every day.

RATES

Prices start at US$650 a night. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required all year round, except in High Season and during Chinese New Year (Feb 5-15, 2016) when a minimum stay of 5 nights is required.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • They are is still battling malaria in this area, so bring your mosquito spray and cover up during mozzie hours at dusk.
  • Nihiwatu is one hour by plane from Bali. And it takes another two hours by car from the airport to get to the hotel.
  • Stays include 3 meals daily, non-alcoholic drinks and minibar. Each villa has one butler throughout the entire stay.

POOL

There are two main pools, one by the reception lounge area and one by the beach. All villas have their own pools though.
