A significant portion of ingredients used in AEOS are grown in their 500-acre, Demeter-certified biodynamic Shire Farm. All other ingredients come from carefully selected biodynamic and organic farms across the world. For the uninformed, biodynamic farming is an ecological and ethical approach to farming. In biodynamic farming, chemical fertilizers are prohibited and healthy soil is achieved using compost, natural animal manure, and rotation. Think of it as a self-sustaining farm.
