Explore the feminine psyche and empower the matriarchal spirit at a life-evolving retreat at Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort & Spa from 10-17 February, 2023.
Guests at this Phuket retreat can explore deep biopsychosocial needs in a safe space and empower the mind, body and spirit with the knowledge and skills to live a more resilient, accomplished and masterful life.
Specific focus will be given to hormonal issues, including PMS, PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder); retreat participants can also learn what happens during menopause and how to prepare for it. The retreat will also delve into intermittent fasting, biochemistry, as well as togetherness and community.
At the retreat, there will be a deep appreciation of fellow attendees as participants can experience community through group sessions of chanting with yogic expressions and drumming around the fire place at night, as well as the sharing of various wellness applications to one’s own life. It is also an avenue where women can meet and share together with impassioned and evolving souls, and the shared wisdom and life-stories with like-minded people will add value to the range of programs offered at the retreat. All in all, the retreat is about creating resilience and self-efficacy, but first and foremost it is about building a relationship with yourself.
Guests will enjoy a healthy plant-based cuisine, created by Samantha Häberli, founder and owner of The Earthling Cafe, a plant-based farm-to-table restaurant inspired by nature, located in Bangkok.
The Phuket retreat also includes resilience and peak experiences that put you in a state of heightened emotional awareness and physical connection with your surroundings. Furthermore, there will be traditional Muay Thai sessions, beachside mud slathering, and a sweat lodge experience.
The retreat will be led by international experts in psychotherapy, sexology, integrative healthcare, naturopathy, plant-based cuisine, nutrition, drumming experiences, digestive health, exercise, movement, breathwork, yoga, traditional Thai medicine, supportive cannabis elixirs, massage, bodywork and beauty-focused care.
Here are the expert practitioners who will help guide the experience:
Naturopath / Nutritionist – Heidi Hogarth
Heidi is an Australian-trained naturopath and advocate of body-mind medicine. Her work is focused on balancing the body’s biochemistry and empowering a deep sense of mental and emotional wellbeing. She teaches a range of skills for balanced health and how you can incorporate healthy eating, self-care and good lifestyle choices into your daily routines with ease. She will talk about the monthly cycle, the type of diet and exercise routines to do; for example, doing aerobics instead of strength training would be better during certain phases. Having worked closely with people struggling with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), she has developed an excellent understanding of women’s hormonal health, and aims to support women with a range of difficulties that relate to hormone-function.
Plant-based Nutritionist and Chef – Samantha Häberli
As you empower your mind and spirit, it is also important to fuel your body with healthy foods. This is where restaurateur, nutritionist and plant-based chef Samantha Häberli comes in, creating foods that use natural, ethically-sourced and unprocessed ingredients, high in nutritional value and low in sugar, unhealthy fats and additives. Samantha will create the menu and lead the cuisine-team in the food preparation. She is the founder and owner of The Earthling Cafe, a health-centric gathering space in Bangkok; her creations are an eclectic mix of cuisines, from Mexican to Thai. Retreat guests can learn from her the wonders and skills in preparing, cooking and serving a range of healthy foods.

Debbie is a practitioner psychologist in London. She holds a doctorate, professional qualifications, and multiple Masters Degrees in exercise science, psychology and sex therapy. Debbie practices in a Harley Street clinic in London and appreciates a diverse group of multicultural clients.
