A Return to the Source – Datu Wellness Ayurveda Retreat (3-14 Nights)

Datu Wellness presents A Return to the Source, a forthcoming wellness residency in Southern Goa, India. Held at The Postcard Hideaway from 27 August to 13 September 2026, the retreat brings together Ayurveda, Sowa Rigpa, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chi Nei Tsang, yoga, and Western musculoskeletal practice within a therapeutic framework shaped around individual care.

Taking place during the monsoon season, known in Ayurveda as Varsha Ritu, the retreat is designed around a period traditionally considered supportive for healing and restoration. During this time, the body is understood to become more receptive to treatment, allowing Datu’s practitioners to work more deeply with fatigue, tension, stagnation, nervous system imbalance, and overall depletion.

The experience is structured yet responsive. Each guest is guided through consultation, treatment, movement, breathwork, nourishment, and rest, with the program adapting throughout the stay according to individual condition, needs, and objectives.

Flexible stays from 3 to 14 nights are available during the residency period. Every guest receives one private treatment per day as part of the core retreat experience, alongside daily classes and therapeutic support.

For guests seeking deeper therapeutic immersion, Datu Wellness also offers optional Ayurveda, TCM, and Longevity packages in addition to the core retreat. These focused programs include two treatments per day, along with an online consultation before arrival and one month of aftercare support following the retreat.

Beyond treatment itself, the residency offers guests a closer understanding of the traditions behind Datu’s work. For Indian guests, it presents a renewed encounter with familiar systems of knowledge viewed through a contemporary therapeutic lens. For international guests, these traditions are introduced with guidance, context, and structure. In both cases, the emphasis remains on direct experience through daily care.
