Dining at CLARA is a full artistic experience, from the plate to the décor. As the former art gallery of Yenakart Villa turned into a unique gastronomic restaurant, the space offers multiple sitting options. Within its BauHaus-inspired design, of clean-lined geometric shapes and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, Christian and Clara Martena caters to all moods, occasions, and atmospheres. The Chef’s Table welcomes guests for an intimate encounter with craftsmen, the designer’s kitchen counter makes them feel part of the orchestrated action. Having gazed at the leafy scenery from the main dining room or enjoyed the secluded bird-eye view of the private mezzanine, guests end their journey on a high note by retiring into the cozy garden lounge.
Following its BauHaus inspiration, design and philosophy, CLARA brings together painters, sculptors, light designers and cooks under one roof. From P. Tendercool’s handcrafted furniture to Val’s triptych garden sculptures, Tantai’s tattooing graphic creations, and Matteo Messervy’s light work, CLARA proudly showcases carefully curated artpieces, celebrating both local and international artists. True to its former status and exhibition hall past, CLARA opens its door to visiting artists, creating a unique guest experience for each new visit.
