Embark on a multi-sensorial and inspirational culinary journey at CLARA Bangkok, Thailand

Ten years after creating the Italian sensation, Sensi, Chef Cristian Martena and Maitre D’ Clara Del Corso-Martena have set their course on a culinary venture in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Nestled within the peaceful Yen Akart area, away from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city, CLARA celebrates modern Italian cuisine and invites guests on a deliciously unique gastronomic escapade.

From its signature to seasonal Once Upon A Time In Italy Menus, CLARA entices guests on a culinary journey through Italy. Within the open-style kitchen, the highest-quality local products are artfully blended with carefully selected European ingredients to deliver a premium palatable experience. Having honed and perfected his craft with decidedly modern and creative inspirations, Chef Cristian Martena designed this contemporary interpretation of his native and traditional cuisine. From Sicilia and Toscana to Lombardia and Valle d’Aosta, guests embark on a savoury Italian journey, as each course embodies a different region.

Combining heartfelt hospitality, genuine welcome and simple elegance with unique menus and mastered gastronomic craft, the symbiotic couple’s recipe creates a one-of-a-kind experience. CLARA’s winning formula has indeed been praised and acknowledged, being listed in Michelin Guide Thailand and celebrated amongst the best Italian restaurants in the world by 50 Top Italy in 2023.

Dining at CLARA is a full artistic experience, from the plate to the décor. As the former art gallery of Yenakart Villa turned into a unique gastronomic restaurant, the space offers multiple sitting options. Within its BauHaus-inspired design, of clean-lined geometric shapes and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, Christian and Clara Martena caters to all moods, occasions, and atmospheres. The Chef’s Table welcomes guests for an intimate encounter with craftsmen, the designer’s kitchen counter makes them feel part of the orchestrated action. Having gazed at the leafy scenery from the main dining room or enjoyed the secluded bird-eye view of the private mezzanine, guests end their journey on a high note by retiring into the cozy garden lounge.
