Far away from the busy madness of bustling Central, urban dwellers can now de-stress and recharge at the newly opened Fivelements Hong Kong
Please head to Fivelements Habitat in Causeway Bay. Fivelements Hong Kong in Sai Kung is permanently closed.
Launched as part of the eight-hectare Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Academy, the wellness haven is the perfect getaway for anyone wanting to focus on their wellness journey.
Inspired by traditional Balinese culture (their flagship is in Bali), the property feels like a little paradise hidden away in Sai Kung. Come for massages, holistic Balinese treatments, tea ceremonies in the floating tea house, yoga classes in the city’s most stunning yoga room, or simply indulge at the Sakti Dining Room and taste the scrumptious epicurean plant-based cuisine with a specialty in “live food” nutrition.
Fivelements Hong Kong offers a range of wellness day experiences, as well as some longer programmes such as the Fivelements’ Detox Retreat, Culinary Retreat and Rejuvenation Retreat. Ranging from three to 21 nights, the packages are personalised to your individual needs and typically include a wellness consultation, massages, holistic therapies, yoga and daily vegan cuisine.

Fivelements Hong Kong boasts the city’s only watsu pool, so do plan ahead to include this in your retreat. Watsu is aquatic bodywork combined with meditative movements. It can be extremely healing for people who struggle with control issues and have to overcome their fear of letting go as they completely surrender to the practitioner, who guides and moves them through the water.
Furthermore, you can attend special events, such as their regular gong bath meditation, and if you time your retreat right, you can even attend their monthly Dinner Club (every first Friday of the month).
