HOW DID YOU GET STARTED WITH THE PRACTICE OF YOGA? WHAT INSPIRED YOU? 

Twenty years ago, my life was forever changed when I embraced yoga, specifically Ashtanga yoga, during my time in California. The practice not only transformed my physical wellbeing through enhanced flexibility but also filled me with a sense of positive energy and serenity that emanated from my inspirational teacher. This encounter marked the beginning of a lifelong journey that has not only improved my physical health but has also enriched my mental and spiritual dimensions, allowing me to navigate life’s challenges with grace and mindfulness.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YINYASA YOGA AND OTHER FORMS OF YOGA? 

Yinyasa yoga is a unique fusion of Vinyasa and Yin yoga, distinguished primarily by the energy and teaching approach it incorporates. In Yinyasa, the instructor brings a distinctive blend of dynamism from Vinyasa, characterized by flowing movements and breath synchronization, together with the deep, introspective qualities of Yin yoga, where poses are held for extended periods to target connective tissues. This combination creates a harmonious balance, offering practitioners both the invigorating aspects of Vinyasa and the meditative, restorative benefits of Yin, resulting in a holistic and enriching yoga experience.
