Experienced teachers Mareile Paley and Heather Thomas Shalabi will lead beginners and advanced students through this 7-day journey of exercise and R&R at luxe eco resort Tri Lanka.

Home for the week is the much-praised sustainable design hotel Tri, which focuses strongly on wellness. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the lush banks of Koggala Lake, retreat-goers will have the entire property to themselves, including first-class yoga facilities, treetop spa, abundant space and healthy fusion meals.
The retreat includes three healthy and freshly prepared meals per day, as well as daily morning and evening movement classes of Pilates, yoga and meditation. You will also take part in a 2-hour Pilates and a 2-hour Yoga workshop. And you will receive a private session and assessment with Mareile or Heather.

Furthermore, the wellness retreat includes excursions to Galle Fort and the Old Town with extra time for dinner and shopping. There will also be a dhoni boat experience to Cinnamon Island on Koggala Lake.
Optional activities include private yoga and Pilates sessions with Heather and Mareile, surfing lessons, jungle treks, bicycles and motorcycles to explore the island.
Tri Lanka is a short 20-minute drive from Galle with its beautiful collection of Dutch-colonial buildings and historic Fort. Round trip airport transfer from Colombo International Airport (approximately 2 hours) is provided.
Prices for the retreat start at US$2,590 for a shared Lake Villa.
