The impressive Preidlhof wellness resort is situated on the sunny slopes of Naturno, surrounded by apple orchards and vineyards. Preidlhof has won numerous awards for its vast 5500-square-meter spa and wellness haven, which offers a vast array of complementary, medical health, and beauty therapies.

Spread across six floors Preidlhof’s wellness facilities are exceptional and include everything from panoramic Sauna Tower, to Water Wonder World, Deep Sea Relaxation Room (where guests are completely engulfed in light, sound, and vibration), salt lounge, crystal steam bath, fire lounger, 14 indoor and outdoor swimming pools and Jacuzzis, and panorama sun terrace on the rooftop.

The Preidlhof Way towards wellness is based on the belief that true health and happiness stem from self-discovery, purpose and meaning. This Preidlhof philosophy is integrated into all aspects of daily life, every interaction, experience and treatment offered to its guests, so a stay at Preidlhof offers every guest the opportunity for personal regeneration with a holistic approach to complementary, medical and preventative health.

Guests can choose between 12 wellness programs developed by Preidlhof’s award-winning Spa Director, Patrizia Bortolin. The 12 programs include  Integrated Wellness Retreat, Sensorial Journey, Glowing Flow, Wellness for 2, Energy & Healing for 2, Women Retreat, Zest Retreat, Traditional Wellness Retreat, Weight Loss Retreat.

Furthermore, should guests grow tired of the resort, they can venture outside and explore the great outdoors with hiking and biking guides. There are more thn 12 guided biking tours from easy to challenging, and four guided hikes weekly. Nordic walking equipment, backpacks, rain protection, GPS devices, mountain, racing and trekking bikes, helmets, water bottles etc are also available. DolceVita Vespas and quad bikes are complimentary, and for a small fee electronic bikes can be organised and a DolceVita Porsche Cabriolet can be rented.

Preidlhof’s approach to nutrition is fervently anti-diet as this is short-term and usually self-defeating; many people simply end up putting on more weight once they finish, while eliminating certain foods often leads to nutritional, physical, emotional and mental imbalances. Preidlhof advocates a balanced approach with enjoyment being a key factor in securing more sustainable and long-term results. In short: happy people make healthier food choices and they move much more.

Instead of rigidly focusing on what you eat, the Preidlhof Way is to focus on the very act of eating: Do you chew your food properly? Are you tuned into your body? Are you listening to what it is telling you? How do you feel? How do your emotions influence your food choices? Are you indeed aware of how your food choices also influence your emotions?

“We are all trained in mindful eating, sensory analysis and other specific techniques taught by slow food experts, scientifically based to create an approach to food that is then integrated by Dr Angerer into his specialities and knowledge for specific cases,” says Patrizia.

Preidlhof offers guests full-board accommodation, allowing them to indulge in its healthy “farm to fork” cuisine. Preidlhof’s Restaurant has been awarded three toques by Gault Millau. Guests enjoy local products and regional delicacies, much of which Preidlhof cultivates and harvests itself.

There is a new vegetarian menu, the Wellness Healing Gourmet Menu, specialising in luxury spa cuisine. It blends the alkaline and mediterranean diet while granting a gluten-, soy-, sugar-, and lactose-free selection of dishes.

In January 2021 the new Vita Lounge Restaurant will be dedicated to guests experiencing this healing menu.
