We round up the top 8 natural skincare brands who will be on your radar soon
Each year Cosmoprof Asia, the leading beauty event in Asia, showcases a treasure trove of new skincare and cosmetics brands, as well as spa machines. We spent all three days wading through all the offerings, on the hunt for the best products and brands.
We saw a huge rise in supplements, both in liquid and powder forms, which are now entering the skincare market with many “beauty from within” formulas. Think collagen for beautiful hair, skin and nails, propolis for a healthy immune system, omega-3 for circulation, as well as grape seed for that extra vitamin E to boost your skin. The list simply goes on and on.
We also saw a rise in do-it-yourself non-invasive treatments, such as microneedle patches, which you can use at home. The bioactive molecules of your face cream penetrate the deep layers of your skin thanks to the microneedle technology of your very own roller.
Another trend in the beauty industry is without a doubt the rise of natural and organic brands, which have their own dedicated area. We’ve selected our top 8 natural and organic brands.
Pestle & Mortar
A family-made and run company, Pestle & Mortar grew out of a mother’s need for simple and effective skincare. She worked closely with her sister who had a degree in biochemistry and created a brand based on results to achieve hydrated and healthy looking skin. All products are 100% vegan and cruelty free, and ban over 3,000 harmful ingredients. We can’t help but also notice the ultra stylish packaging. Check out the pure Hyaluronic Serum, their bestseller.

Pure Nut
Pure Nut skincare started on the 50-acre family-owned macadamia farm in Northern New South Wales, Australia. Their macadamia crop was being sent off as premium food grade nuts, and eventually the family started to apply the concept of “farm to face” and expanded into skincare, due to the oil’s health benefits as it’s full of omegas 6, 7 and 9, which are known to keep in moisture and improve the appearance of fine lines and minimize skin damage by nourishing and rejuvenating the skin. The macadamia oil is light and quickly soaks into your skin, instantly nourishing it. It is 100% natural, you can even eat it.

The Organic Hemp Line
This brand is based on the natural richness of organic hemp seed oil. Containing all 21 amino acids, hemp seed oil is great for any type of skin and perfect for that healthy natural glow. All products are certified by ECOCERT Greenlife, and the packaging is made from bamboo.

Alteya Organics
Caring for roses has been a family tradition since the early 1900s. Located in the heart of Bulgaria, Alteya Organics distils premium organic rose essential oils and flower waters using an old recipe that has been handed down by generations. The flower essences they distract are dermatology-grade and retain the therapeutic properties and synergy of the plants. The company also creates rose skincare, but we were particularly interested in their organic rose waters, which can be used as toners and mists.
